DH Media was developed after Jesse D'Hulster graduated Niagara College for film production in 2013. Originally called D'Hulster Videography & Photography, in summer 2017, it was decided to change the name to something more people could pronounce. Taking his love for visual imagery, Jesse started shooting weddings as well as many other creative projects.
2015 marked a the biggest milestone for DH Media (Formally D'Hulster Videography & Photography) as Jesse needed to branch out and implement a team. It was the best decision made. DHMedia is now a team of five people traveling southern Ontario and beyond to tell some of the most passionate and creative video and photography projects possible.
Utilizing a documentary style process, DH Media is able to capture the most candid and realistic moments during whatever event is being captured.
DH Media believes in fair and honest business practices. We're fun to work with, we're affordable, but most importantly, we're the right choice for all your videography and photography needs!
Jesse D'Hulster: I've been lucky to work both here in Canada as well as overseas. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, it only made sense that one day I'd be in business myself.
When it comes to weddings, I truly believe it's about being warm, friendly and honest when dealing with clients. Too many wedding companies are in it for the wrong reasons. I love the way weddings bring people from different walks of life together. If I didn't love weddings and our clients so much, we wouldn't be known for having meetings with clients that last well over two hours. Every client I deal with can be assured that I will be giving them the best service possible.
"Hurried work is worried work and a job not well done is not a well done job." -Unknown (But Jesse says it all the time)
Teela Airdrie: Hello there! I am an outgoing individual always looking to learn. I spend my time trying to inspire others while seeking my own inspiration.
“You can’t depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.” -Mark Twain
Justin DeCoene: Hey there! Originally I was dedicated to being an actor. My acting path took a different direction and I have fallen in love with capturing couple’s special moments. That’s what matters most to me.
“You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." - Wayne Gretzky
"Think about it. It makes sense.” - Justin DeCoene
Eric Gervais: Hello! I spend my time walking around everywhere with a camera around my neck or in my hand. When I’m not doing this, I’m usually doing biology research at Brock university or reading up about every news headline and electronic gadget that comes out.
“Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.” - Henry Cartier Bresson
Andrew Dickson: I got my first camera when I was about 9 or 10 years old, and I’ve enjoyed being a photographer ever since.
I studied photography in Scotland where I lived for 20 years, and have been a full time professional photographer ever since.
One of the thrills of photography is seeing things differently to others, and capturing that vision so that others can see what I see – knowing I’ve captured something special is one of the greatest rewards, and being able to do this for a newlywed couple is so fulfilling that I can’t imagine doing anything else.
"Not that the story need be long, but it will take a long while to make it short." – Henry David Thoreau
